New Opportunity, New Year

Many of you know about the new opportunity I started with the American Association of School Librarians, a division of the American Library Association, this fall. For those that don’t, I thought this would be a fun way to introduce the work I am doing there. I started there in September as the Manager of Communications overseeing marketing communications strategy and implementation,  and publications for the division. After working with Chicago Public Schools last year, I am again really proud to work with a great team of staff at AASL serving a membership that helps facilitate student education through information literacy and development of 21st-century skills.

For our company holiday party this year, each of the divisions was asked to create a seasonal card to put in our program for the event. Our team had a lot of fun putting this winter season piece together, and I am looking forward to all the opportunities and challenges this new year with this new team will hold!

Thanks to all my readers for following the blog this last year, and to all a warm season, and a happy and healthy New Year.

Safe travels.
